Cumbre de Negocios 2026
Hispanic League is excited to host the Cumbre de Negocios 2026, an empowering Hispanic/Latino Business Summit designed for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals seeking to grow and expand their businesses. This highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, March 28th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness.
Latte & Learn: Bossa Nova with Martha Bassett
Martha Bassett will discuss the origins of bossa nova as a Latin musical genre, and her personal history of learning to play bossas during the pandemic.
Latte & Learn: Latin Jazz with Roberto Orihuela
Roberto “Ro” Orihuela will discuss his journey and the origins of Cuban music. He will delve into the heart and soul of this remarkable music genre.

Latte & Learn: Salem Bach Festival with Vivian Mayers
Join violinist Vivian Mayers in a conversation exploring the ways classical music and its instruments have evolved over time. A core member of the Salem Bach Festival, Vivian will perform various pieces from the Baroque repertoire on both her modern violin (made 2006) and an original baroque instrument from 1723.

Join Wake Forest University Reynolds Professor of Dance Christina Soriano for a conversation about the joys of creating intergenerational dances at the July 29th Latte and Learn.

Beating Hearts Zumbathon® 2025
The 2025 Beating Hearts Zumbathon® is scheduled for Friday, February 7th, at the Intergenerational Center for Arts & Wellness in Winston-Salem, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Zumbathon® is open to everyone, regardless of age or dance skill level. The Beating Hearts Zumbathon® welcomes individuals of all ages and abilities to join the dance celebration.

Christmas For The City
Get ready to embrace the magic of Christmas in the heart of our city! For the past seventeen years, local churches, organizations, and members of the arts community have come together to throw a free citywide Christmas party that features live music performances and interactive arts, original work by local artists, a make-your-own toy workshop, Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men, and lots of other interactive activities!
