HISPANIC LEAGUE SCHOLARSHIPS
Since the year 2000, Hispanic League has proudly awarded over 720 scholarships to well-deserving students in Forsyth County, demonstrating our commitment to educational advancement and support. These awards add up to nearly $2,000,000 in scholarships, which significantly contribute to the academic journeys of our scholars as they pursue their dreams. Our diverse group of scholars attends many different accredited colleges or universities across the country, enriching their educational experiences while fostering a strong sense of community and achievement.
Desde el año 2000, la Liga Hispana a otorgar orgullosamente más de 720 becas a estudiantes destacados del condado de Forsyth, lo que demuestra nuestro compromiso con el avance y el apoyo educativo. Estos premios suman alrededor de $2,000,000 en becas, lo que contribuye significativamente a la trayectoria académica de nuestros estudiantes mientras persiguen sus sueños. In 2026, we awarded 32 scholarships to extraordinary students seeking to continue their post-secondary education. Each scholarship represents an investment in these students' futures, as well as an opportunity for them to contribute positively to their communities. We are proud to support the educational dreams and aspirations of our scholarship recipients.

This scholarship cycle culminated on June 6, 2026, when scholars, their families, scholarship sponsors, community members, volunteers, and Hispanic League supporters gathered for our 27th Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony. It was a day filled with smiles, proud families, heartfelt congratulations, and excitement for what lies ahead. Watching students receive their scholarships while surrounded by the people who have encouraged and supported them was a powerful reminder that success is never achieved alone. Behind every scholar is a family that believed in them, teachers who encouraged them, mentors who guided them, and a community willing to invest in their future. Events like these are only possible because of the generosity of so many partners. We want to extend a special thank you to our in-kind sponsors whose support helped make the celebration possible:

The 2025-2026 Scholarship Application is CLOSED.
The International Scholarship & Tuition Services (ISTS), an independent agent, assists with the criteria and fair selection of the scholarship winners.
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must:
Be of Hispanic/Latino origin
Must be a NC resident
Must be a high school senior, high school graduate (including GED), or undergraduate student who have been accepted into a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the United States (excludes graduate studies)
Must have attended a school in Forsyth County, NC
Must be in good academic standing (2.7 GPA Minimum)
Have financial need
Apply to an accredited institution of higher education
Note:
U.S. Citizenship is not a requirement
ELL or ESL is not a requirement
2026-2027 Scholarship Applications are closed. The next cycle will open in January 2027.

MARI JO TURNER SCHOLARSHIP
This Scholarship is to assist Hispanic/Latino parents who would like to attend college and receive funds through the Hispanic League Scholarship process. Donations will be matched up to 15,000 dollars.
