TEAM

Born in California, raised in Forsyth County, and now residing in Winston-Salem, I have a deep love for this city and have witnessed its many changes over the years. Throughout these transformations, the Hispanic League has remained a steadfast beacon of hope, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Hispanic and Latin individuals through community inclusion, health, and multicultural understanding. As a resilient and united community, we have always relied on each other for support. Looking ahead, I am eager to honor this spirit by collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds to empower our communities and nurture future leaders.

  • In life we must always aim to grow as a human being and help others grow and reach their maximum potential. The Hispanic community has distinguished itself in the United States and other countries in the world for their perseverance and their desire to fight tirelessly. When I learned about the Hispanic League, I fell in love with its mission: to provide opportunities for Hispanic people to enrich their knowledge and create ties beyond language and cultural diversity. I am proud to belong to the League and I hope to contribute to helping others become empowered leaders in our Hispanic community.

The Hispanic League has been there to support me, this is my time to support the Hispanic League at another level.

It’s a real honor to be part of the Board of the Hispanic League. As an immigrant myself, have benefited from their support on more than one occasion in my life. Back in 2001, I served as the League’s first administrative assistant, and have since been involved in multiple events as a volunteer for many years. The Hispanic League has a real impact in our community. Now as Board member I have the opportunity to help broaden this impact which contributes to the prosperity of the Hispanic community as well as the greater community as a whole.
