32 Dreams, One Community: Celebrating the 2026–2027 Hispanic League Scholarship Cycle

Every scholarship tells a story.

It is the story of a student who stayed up late studying, balanced school with work or family responsibilities, volunteered in the community, and dared to dream about college and the future. It is also the story of a community that believes those dreams deserve to be supported. The Hispanic League is proud to celebrate another incredible scholarship season and the remarkable students who inspire us every year.

Our 2026–2027 Scholarship Cycle officially opened on January 15, 2026, and closed on March 2, 2026. During those weeks, we received applications from talented students across Forsyth County. Reading their stories was both inspiring and humbling. Each application reflected determination, resilience, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference. Selecting recipients is never easy because every applicant has worked hard to reach this point. This year, however, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to award 32 scholarships, helping students take the next step toward achieving their educational goals.

Behind every scholarship is someone who chose to invest in a student's future. We are deeply grateful to our scholarship sponsors:

The journey culminated on June 6, 2026, when scholars, their families, scholarship sponsors, community members, volunteers, and Hispanic League supporters gathered for our 27th Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony. It was a day filled with smiles, proud families, heartfelt congratulations, and excitement for what lies ahead. Watching students receive their scholarships while surrounded by the people who have encouraged and supported them was a powerful reminder that success is never achieved alone. Behind every scholar is a family that believed in them, teachers who encouraged them, mentors who guided them, and a community willing to invest in their future. Events like these are only possible because of the generosity of so many partners. We would like to extend a special thank you to our in-kind sponsors whose support helped make the celebration possible:

Your contributions helped create a memorable experience worthy of celebrating the incredible accomplishments of our scholarship recipients. The Hispanic League Scholarship Program is about much more than financial assistance. It is about opening doors, creating opportunities, and showing students that their community believes in them. Every scholarship awarded represents an investment in future educators, healthcare professionals, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists, and leaders who will one day give back to the communities that helped them succeed.

As we celebrate this year's scholars, we are already looking ahead. Applications for the next Hispanic League Scholarship Cycle will open in January 2027, and we look forward to meeting another inspiring class of students with big dreams and bright futures. If you or your business would like to become part of this life-changing program by sponsoring a scholarship, we would love to hear from you. Your support can help remove financial barriers, encourage academic achievement, and empower the next generation of leaders in Forsyth County. Together, we are doing more than awarding scholarships. We are investing in dreams, strengthening families, and building a brighter future for our entire community.
