Hispanic League Scholarship
The Hispanic League, in keeping with their mission to improve the quality of life for Hispanics/Latinos through promoting community inclusion, education, health and multicultural understanding, has established this program to provide scholarships for deserving students. In 2018 we were able to award 42 scholarships to some extraordinary students looking to continue their education!
The 2018-2019 Scholarship Application is available between October 15, 2018 - January 11, 2019 for the 2018-2019 Scholarships.

It all started in 2000...
Ever since the Hispanic League Scholarship Program has grown steadily due to the hard work, dedication, and passion of volunteers and donors. The International Scholarship & Tuition Services (ISTS), an independent agent, assists with the criteria and fair selection of the scholarship winners.
To apply for the scholarship, applicants:
Must be current or former Forsyth
County English Language Learner
(ELL) student
Be of Hispanic/Latino origin
Be present on Spanish Nite, to be held April 6, 2019, to receive their award and attend the Scholarship Orientation in early March, 2019
Must be in good academic standing (2.7 GPA Minimum)
Have financial need
Must apply to an accredited institution of higher education
Volunteer a minimum of 20 hours
Citizenship is not a requirement
The Scholarship Committee matches the ISTS selected recipients with sponsors, who present awards to the students at the annual Spanish Nite Gala. In 2018, the League presented a total of 42 scholarships to recipients with outstanding achievements and academic success.
