New Executive Director of Hispanic League: Amy Barnhart


Amy Barnhart, the new Executive Director of the Hispanic League, has recently returned from serving in Peace Corps in Bolivia, South America. While living in Bolivia, she lived and worked in a small community facilitating tourism development and teaching English and small business skills to local guides and artisans.

Amy is a graduate of Salem College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Not-for-Profit Management and Spanish and a minor in Sociology.

Amy is a Winston-Salem native and has a passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic/Latino culture. She is excited to have the opportunity to use her experience and passion to serve the growing Hispanic/Latino Community of Winston-Salem.
