COMMUNITY

Partnering with more than eighty community organizations to provide educational programming and assistance to the Hispanic community, including Covid-19 support to families.

  • The Hispanic League has a Community Service Coordinator who provides resources to the community for Spanish speaking individuals. Part of this service includes quarterly FaithAction ID Drives for the community in which any individual may receive photo identification. The FaithAction ID’s are recognized by local law enforcement, health care facilities and other partner organizations/businesses. Since 2016 we have distributed over 1800 community ID cards.

  • As part of our response to COVID-19, we began our weekly Hispanic League FaceBook Live events each Thursday from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm in SPANISH. We hosted a panel of professional guests to educate the community about the most important topics touching our lives. Live streams are currently paused.

  • The Hispanic Services offers educational session throughout the year including the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Latino American Women’s Conference, and more. These opportunities are open to all interested in learning more about the Hispanic community.
